2. Description of Service

ContractSnap provides AI-powered contract analysis for informational purposes. You upload contract PDFs, and our AI generates summaries, risk assessments, and missing clause detection. The service includes free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Not Legal Advice

ContractSnap does not provide legal advice. All analysis is AI-generated and for informational purposes only. You should always consult a licensed attorney before making binding legal decisions based on any information provided by ContractSnap.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You may not share your account credentials with others
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or proprietary technology
• Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
• Exceed your plan's usage limits through automated or programmatic means
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

6. Billing & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly through Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. You can cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

7. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with ContractSnap, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. To request a refund, contact us via our contact page or email. Refunds are processed by Paddle and will be returned to your original payment method.

8. Data Handling

We process your contract documents ephemerally. Original PDFs and extracted text are permanently deleted immediately after analysis. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

9. Limitation of Liability

ContractSnap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated analysis. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
